How therapy works here.
Integrative by design
Therapy at Mind Sana is integrative rather than single-modality. That is a considered choice. Different difficulties call for different approaches, and a careful clinician should be able to draw on more than one.
Choosing an approach
In practice, Nadine works with EMDR, Schema, DBT, CBT, ACT and psychodynamic ideas. The choice of approach is collaborative. Some sessions are reflective and exploratory. Others focus on practical strategies and emotional processing. The pace is set by what the person in front of her actually needs.
A first session
A first session is about understanding what brings you in. There is no pressure to commit to a particular kind of work in advance. The first session is yours to use however you find useful.
Ongoing therapy
Ongoing therapy is shaped together. Some clients work in short, focused arcs around a specific concern. Others work over longer periods, exploring patterns that show up across their lives.
Why depth matters
Depth matters because symptoms are usually pointing at something. The aim of therapy here is not symptom-suppression but a mind that is genuinely well.
